5 Tips For A Successful Trade Show
While you are at the show, your trade show booth needs to be eye-catching and easy to navigate. There is a very important difference between an exhibit that is interesting and attractive and one that is overwhelming. Keep that balance in mind when creating your marketing plan for your in-show materials and booth design. Simple is always the preferred method. A simple retractable banner or two should have just enough information on it so that the interested attendee will come to you for more information. Always stand at the outer edge of the booth.
From a visual standpoint there are countless of options, so it is important to do your research and find the best option for you.
Why not use a custom logo backdrop or table throw, projected images or product display and brochure towers. Find something that represents your product well and makes you stand out from the competition.
Make sure you have talking points ready and that your booth is fully stocked with marketing materials. Catalogs, samples, giveaways and business cards are all important to making a lasting connection with your prospects. When they can take your product away with them as a physical example you are guaranteed to remain in the front of their mind when the time comes to purchase or present to others
Since you’ll be collecting business cards, it’s important to follow up with those contacts. A simple thank you note goes a long way. Remember to respond to all requests as quickly as possible and if possible, set appointments during the show.
And remember the most important point of all … HAVE FUN!!
